Kevättä rinnassa

Vaikka ensin tuli lunta taas ihan urakalla ja nyt on harmaata ja märkää, niin silti pikkuhiljaa alkaa olla kevättä rinnassa, kun valon määrä lisääntyy. Tämänpäiväiseen korttiinkin tuli taas keväinen fiilis hempeine väreineen.

Kuva on FaeryInkin Arielle Flora Fae, joka taisi olla yhden päivän ilmaiskuvana tammikuussa. Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja mustetin taustan Distress Inkin sävyllä "tea dye". Kuviopaperi on JK Primecon ja kerrostukseen käytin persikansävyistä kartonkia. Ressasin sekä kuvan että kuviopaperin reunat kevyesti saksilla. Lisukkeena läpikuultavaa kulta-valkoista nauhaa, kakkupaperilasinalunen, ProMarkereilla värjätyt paperikukat ja maalitippatarrat, jotka värjäsin myös ProMarkereilla valkeista keltaisiksi.

Although we just got some more snow and now it's all grey and wet, there's still a feel of spring in the air. And that in mind the spring came into my card too with sweet pastel tones and some flowers. The image is "Arielle Flora Fae" by FaeryInk and I think it was a one-day freebie on FaeryInk in January. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and inked the background with Distress Ink "tea dye". The DP is by JK Primeco and layered with some peach cardstock. I distressed the image and the DP lightly with scissors. In addition some white-and-gold ribbon, doily and paperflowers coloured with ProMarkers. I actually coloured also the white enamel dots into yellow as well (with ProMarkers) to get the right colour centres for the flowers.
