OMCF #3 "Movement in March" - DT post

It's 10th of March and that marks the start of a brand new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge blog. The theme for the month is:

I made a rolling ball card for my godson's 11th birthday. This was actually the first time I made such a card, but had to try it as I found a great tutorial at The Crafts Channel on YouTube.

The image is cute "Simon's Gift" by AliciaBel, who is our sponsor in this challenge and generously provided the images for the DT. I coloured him with ProMarkers and fussy cut before attaching the image on the card. I made the background myself by stamping suns in yellow Distress ink (mustard seed) on yellow cardstock. I made the part for the circle to roll using the same cardstock. I cut the circle with Nellie Snellen's circle die using green cardstock and added some black peel-off numbers. The circle is attached to a 1 cent coin to able the rolling. The text "Onnea" is a peel-off sticker and means "Congratulations" in Finnish.

Like mentioned, our sponsor in this challenge is AliciaBel, who is offering 3 images to the winner.

Pop in to the challenge blog to see other DT members' inspirational projects for this month's challenge. You have a whole month to craft and participate so have fun!

I participate with my card in the following challenges:
Come and Get It Challenge "Cards for Kids"
Hiding in My Craft Room Challenge #291 "Spring colours"
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #53 "Anything goes"
Passion for ProMarkers Challenge week 385 "It's a boy"

Tein taustan itse leimaamalla aurinkoja Distress Inkin sävyllä "mustard seed" keltaiselle kartongille. Käytin samaa kartonkia myös korotuspalaan, johon tuo pyörivä pallo kiinnitettiin. Ympyrän stanssasin Nellie Snellenin stanssilla vihreästä kartongista ja liimasin siihen ääriviivatarranumerot. Tuon ympyrän taustalla on yhden sentin kolikko, joka auttaa pyörimisessä. Onnea-teksti on ääriviivatarra.

Haasteen sponsorina on tosiaan AliciaBel, joka palkitsee voittajan kolmella (3) digileimalla.

Piipahda haasteblogissa katsastamassa muiden DT-jäsenten inspiroivat projektit. Haaste on auki huhtikuun 9. päivään asti, joten aikaa osallistua on kokonainen kuukausi!

Osallistun kortillani seuraaviin haasteisiin:
Come and Get It Challenge "Cards for Kids"
Hiding in My Craft Room Challenge #291 "Spring colours"
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #53 "Anything goes"
Passion for ProMarkers Challenge week 385 "It's a boy"

Nopea kortti. :)

Life has been so hectic lately that I haven't had time to blog or craft. However, here's one birthday card that I made with pretty much same materials than my previous card "Jokaisella pilvellä on hopeareunus" (Every cloud has a silver lining in Finnish). The DPs are by Papermania and the stamps came with Creative Stamping magazine. I paper pieced the boots by stamping them on a different DP and fussy cutting them. This was rather quick and simple to make, so perfect if you have limited time to craft. :)
