Lentolisko onnittelee

Sain ystävältäni Making Cards -lehden ja sen mukana tuli kerrassaan mahtava paperisetti, jossa on dinosauruksia ja värikkäitä papereita. Mulla oli askartelukamat jonkin aikaa pakattuna pois, mutta nyt olen saanut uuden työpöydän ja järjesteltyä taas askartelunurkkauksen toimintakuntoon, joten pääsin leikkimään dinoilla. :)

My friend sent me Making Cards magazine some time ago and there was this awesome giveaway with colourful papers and dinosaurs. My craft supplies were packed away for a while, but not I got my new desk and have been able to reorganise my craft corner so I finally got to play around with the dinos. :)

Ensimmäisenä testiin pääsi lentolisko, joka tuo onnentoivotukset värikkään "Happy Birthday" -paperin seurana. Mustetin lentoliskokuvaa kevyesti Distress Inkin sävyllä Peacock Feathers, jolla leimasin myös tekstin. Käytin kerrostukseen punaista kartonkia ja höystin kortin keltaisella nauhalla. Onnea-teksti on leimattu FinnStamperin leimasimella. Käytin 3D-tarrapaloja tekstin ja kuvan kiinnitykseen, niin sain vähän lisälennokkuutta korttiin kolmiulotteisuuden muodossa. :)

The first one I picked to use was this awesome pterosaur which brings birthday wishes with this colourful "Happy Birthday" paper. I inked the image lightly with Distress Ink shade Peacock Feathers, which I used also to stamp the text. I layered everything with red cardstock and added some yellow ribbon for additional splash of colour. The text says "Congratulations" in Finnish and is stamped with FinnStamper stamp. I attached the image and the text with 3D foam pads for additional dimension.

Ei pöllömpi synttärikortti

Tämä kortti on löytänyt tiensä saajalleen, joten nyt blogiinkin. :) Tein tämän siis rakkaan ystäväni syntymäpäiväkortiksi.

I made this card as a birthday card for a dear friend of mine. Since she's got it already, I can now post it here too. :)

Kortti on kunnon väri-ilottelua. :) Taustalla pinkki kartonki, jonka koristelin hopeisilla ääriviivatarroilla ja keskelle lisäsin laserleikatun sydänkoristeen sekä kartonkisen pöllön. Melko simppeliä ja nopeaa, mutta silti oikea katseenvangitsija vahvojen värien ansiosta. Pinkin taustan valitsin pöllön pinkin värityksen mukaisesti ja toimiihan se tietysti myös hyvänä kontrastina niin valkoiselle sydämelle kuin vihreälle pöllöllekin.

This card is a real eye-catcher thanks to bright colours. I chose the pink cardstock for the background based on the pink colour on the owl. I decorated the cardstock simply with some silver peel-off sticker - one saying "congratulations" in Finnish. I then added the laser cut heart and the cardstock owl in the middle. I think that both the white heart and the green owl really stands out from the pink background.

OMCF "Mighty Men in May" - DT post

Talking about lazy blogger - it seems that my last post was the previous DT post for Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. Oh well, sometimes life happens. Anyway, it's again 10th of the month which marks the new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. This time our theme for the month is:

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and used some bright yellow cardstock for layering. The DP is from my scraps box and I picked the shades of blue from the DP for my image. I distressed the edges of the DP lightly with scissors and used the yellow cardstock for layering. I added some yellow baker's twine and finished with a peel off sticker text, which says "Congratulations" in Finnish. I attached the image and the text with 3D foam pads for added dimension.

Tervehdys taas! Nyt on ollut bloginpitäjä laiskana, kun edellisestä postauksesta on jo kuukausi... No, sellaista se elämä välillä on ja täytyy myöntää, että pitkän talven jälkeen kauniit säät ovat houkutelleet enemmän ulos ja vähemmän askartelupöydän ääreen. Nyt on joka tapauksessa taas kuun 10. päivä mikä merkitsee uutta haastetta Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges -blogissa. Tämän kuun aiheena on miehet ja/tai pojat.

Perhosia ja blingejä syntymäpäiväksi

Alkuvuosi on ollut kiireistä aikaa monella tapaa ja askartelut ovat jääneet vähemmälle - sitä myötä myös blogi on päivittynyt melko satunnaisesti. Nyt on kuitenkin tämä syntymäpäiväkortti tehty ja toimitettu saajalleenkin, joten voi tänne postata. :)

The beginning of the year has been so busy in so many ways, so I haven't had much time to craft - and hence this blog has been also pretty quiet. However, now I haven't only made this card for a birthday, but also managed to deliver it to its recipient, so I can finally post this here. :)

Tässä on kortin kansi. Kortin valkea, helmiäishohtoinen kuviopaperi on JK Primecon ja kehystykseen käytin sinistä kartonkia. Perhoset on stanssattu Spellbindersin stansseilla ja lisukkeena on vähän erimuotoisia blingejä.

This is the cover. The white pearlscent DP is by JK Primeco and I used some bright blue cardstock for layering. The butterflies are cut with Spellbinders dies and I added some blings in various shapes to bring some sparkle.

Kortti on ns. twisted easel eli kääntyvä telinekortti, joten kun sen avaa, niin kansi kääntyy vinottain ja sen saa seisomaan pystyssä tuota blinginauhaa vasten. Onnea-teksti on hopeinen ääriviivatarra. Tuolta kannen takaa pilkistää vielä pieni tasku...

The card is twisted easel card and I added little more bling to it with a bling ribbon/tape, which also holds the cover up when opened. The "Onnea" text is a silver peel-off and it means "Congratulations" in Finnish. There is also a little pocket hiding behind the cover...

Taskussa oli lahjakortti, jossa hyödynsin myös samoja materiaaleja kuin itse kortissa. Tein koko kortin samalla tyylillä ja värimaailmalla - eli paljon hohtavaa valkeaa ja ripaus raikkaan sinistä tuomassa vähän kontrastia. Lahjakortin teksti on leimattu FinnStamperin leimasimella - sinisellä musteella tietenkin.

There was a gift card in the pocket. I made the whole card using the same style and colours (lots of shiny white and a touch of bright blue to bring some contrast) so the gift card is also made with the same materials. The text "Lahjakortti" (gift card in Finnish) is a stamp by FinnStamper and I stamped it with blue ink - of course!

Onnittelukortti ruskan väreissä

Minulta pyydettiin onnittelukorttia 60-vuotta täyttävälle ja toiveena oli kukkia, runsautta ja vahvoja värejä. Kortissa ei sen sijaan tarvinnut näkyä numeroita. Päätin sitten ammentaa hieman ruskan väreistä ja tämmöinen onnittelukortti sitten syntyi.

Kuva on Digital Delights by Louby Loon "Flower set" -paketista. Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja mustetin Distress Inkin sävyllä "Tea dye". Onnea -teksti on FinnStampersin "Onnea 08" leimasin. Kuviopaperi on silppulaatikon kätköistä ja ressasin sen reunoja kevyesti saksilla. Kerrostukseen käytin tummanvihreää sekä tuollaista hiekan väristä, hieman kellertävää kartonkia. Lisukkeena on pitsiä, mulperikukkia ja -lehtiä, haaraniitti sekä muutama kullankeltainen blingi.

Tällä kortilla mukaan P*askarteluhaasteeseen #332, jonka aiheena on bingo. Valitsin rivin "jotain uutta - kerroksia - punainen" (jotain uutta on nuo mulperikukat - tosin en muista olenko tuota kuvaakaan ennen kortissa käyttänyt...).

I was asked to make a congratulations card for 60 years' celebrations. The wish was to have flowers, strong colours and it didn't need to be too simple. However, the numbers were not supposed to be in the card. I decided to go with autumn colours and this was how it turned out. The image is from "Flower set" by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and inked with Distress Ink "Tea dye". The text "Onnea" is Finnish and it means congratulations. The text is stamped with FinnStamper stamp "Onnea 08". The DP is from my scraps box and I distressed the edges slightly with scissors. I used some dark green and sand coloured cardstocks for layering. In addition some lace, paper flowers and leaves as well as a flower brad and some golden-yellow blings.
  
I participate with my card in P*askarteluhaaste #332, which is bingo. I choose the row "something new - layers - red" (my something new are the ready-coloured paper flowers - though I'm not sure if I've ever used that image on the card either...). 

Ylioppilaskortteja

Tänä viikonloppuna on juhlittu ylioppilaita ympäri maan, mutta omalle kohdalle ei sattunut tänä vuonna yksiäkään ylppäreitä. Onneksi ystävällä juhlia oli peräti kolmet, joten sain hyvän syyn tehdä muutaman kortin, kun hän niitä minulta pyysi.

This weekend has seen many graduation celebrations all over the country. I didn't have any parties to go, but my friend had three different graduation parties so I got a good excuse to make some graduation cards when she asked me.

Tässä ensimmäisessä kortissa käytin Reprintin kuviopaperia, jonka kerrostin mustalla kartongilla. Ylioppilaslakki on ääriviivatarra, jonka liimasin valkoiselle paksulle paperille ja leikkasin ääriviivoja myöten irti. Lyyra on väritetty kultaisella geelikynällä. Myös teksti on ääriviivatarra. Lisukkeena mustaa ja kultaista nauhaa. Kohotin lakin ja kuviopaperin 3D tarrapaloilla, jotta sain vähän lisää kerroksellisuutta korttiin.

In this first card I used DP by Reprint, which I layered with black cardstock. The Finnish graduation cap is peel-off sticker, which I attached on thick white paper and fussy cut. I used golden gel pen to mark the golden mark we have on the caps. The text says "Congratulations" in Finnish and is also a peel-off sticker. In addition some black and golden ribbons. I used 3D foam pads to attach the cap and the DP for additional dimension.

Tässä toisessa kortissa on StudioLightin kuviopaperi - tuo mittari-suikale on saman kuviopaperin toiselta puolelta. Lisukkeena muovista Sizzixin stanssilla leikattu tägi, eko-kartongista leikattu tägirengas sekä haaraniitti. Teksti ja lakki on jälleen ääriviivatarroja.

This second card is a bit more masculine one. The DP is by StudioLight - also the decorative strip is from the same sheet. In addition a tag cut with Sizzix die out of plastic, a tag ring cut out of eco cardstock and a brad as an additional decoration. The text is again in Finnish and it means "to a graduate" (specifically to a graduate from upper secondary school). The cap is made the same way as above.

Kolmas kortti on sitten superkeväinen. Koivu-paperi on JK Primecon ja kerrostukseen käytin raikkaan vihreää kartonkia. Lisukkeena vihreää satiininauhaa. Tekstin ja lakin kiinnitin erilliselle neliönmalliselle palalle tuota kuviopaperia, kerrostin samalla vihreällä kartongilla kuin taustankin ja kohotin taas 3D tarrapaloilla taustasta.

This third card is just screaming "spring". The birch DP is by JK Primeco and I used some bright green cardstock for layering. In addition some green satin ribbon. The text says again "Congratulations" and I attached the text and the cap on a smaller piece of the DP and layered with same green cardstock as I used on the background. I then attached the square with 3D foam pads for additional dimension.

Kisu lasissa

Tänään vuorossa on synttärikortti, jonka tein ystävälleni. Alunperin ajattelin jotain viiniin liittyvää kuvaa, mutta kun sellaista ei omista kätköistä löytynyt ja kortin kanssa tuli vähän kiirus, niin päätin, että drinkkilasi passaa aivan yhtä hyvin.

Olen saanut leimasimen joskus ystävältäni, mutta koskaan ennen en ole sitä vielä käyttänyt. Leimasin kuvan Mementon mustalla musteella, väritin ProMarkereilla ja kehystin violetilla kartongilla. Kuviopaperi on Papermanian, teksti FinnStamperin. Lisukkeen sinistä satiininauhaa ja violetti-hopeista organsanauhaa.

Today's card is a birthday card I made for a friend. My original idea was to have an image with something to do with wine, but since I didn't have such and I was in a hurry when making this, I decided to go with this drink glass... I've got this stamp from another friend already ages ago, but I've never used it before. I stamped the image using Mememto's ink, coloured the image with ProMarkers and layered with purple cardstock. The DP is by Papermania and the text (Congratulations in Finnish) is by FinnStamper. In addition just some ribbons.

Sähäkkä onnittelukortti

Tämä kuva on tullut aikoja sitten ilmaiskuvana The East Windin uutiskirjeessä ja muistan värittäneenikin tämän aikalailla silloin heti, mutta kuva ei sitten lopulta koskaan löytänyt tietänsä korttiin. Ennen kuin nyt.

Kuva on siis The East Windin. En löydä kuvaa TEWin Etsy-kaupasta, mutta itselleni olen tallentanut tuon nimellä "Party Girl". Kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla. Taustan pinkki paperi on kierrätetty kirjekuoresta, kerrostukseen käytin mustaa kartonkia. Lisukkeena vihreää satiininauhaa sekä ääriviivatarrateksti. Tämä kortti menee ystävälle, joka tuli minulle kuvasta mieleen jo silloin, kun ensimmäisen kerran tuon kuvan näin. :)

This card will go to a friend of mine, whom I thought immediately already when I saw this image for the very first time. The image is by The East Wind and although I couldn't find it on Etsy, I've saved it on my computer with the name "Party Girl". I've received it with The East Wind newsletter ages ago and I coloured her already then, but for some reason she never made her way onto a card - until now. The image is coloured with ProMarkers and the pink paper on the background is recycled from an old envelope. I used black cardstock for layering and added just some green ribbon and a peel-off sticker text that says "Congratulations" in Finnish.

Mustaa ja valkeaa

Jos edellinen postaukseni oli hempeä, niin nyt tulee sitten kunnon kontrastikortti.

Kortin resepti on hyvin simppeli: mustaa kartonkia ja valkeita ääriviivatarroja. Hirveän paljon yksinkertaisemmaksi ja nopeammaksi ei varmaan kortin teko voi enää mennä. :) Ääriviivatarrat on tosiaan siitä kivoja, että niillä saa nopeasti aikaan näyttävää jälkeä.

So, if my previous post was with soft colours, this is quite the opposite with strong contrast. The recipe for this card was very simple: black cardstock and white peel-off stickers. I don't think making a card gets any simpler and faster than this... :) Peel-off stickers are nice to play with as you can make quite effective cards really fast.

Hempeän persikkaista

Nyt on persikkaista väriä kortissa. En oikein edes tiedä, että mistä kaikki alkoi, mutta kuvaa värittäessä mekosta vain tuli jotenkin persikan värinen ja päätin sitten hyödyntää sitä päävärinä kortissa.

Kuva on The East Windin "Aurora 'Belle of the ball'" ja väritin sen ProMarkereilla. Taustan mustetin Distress Inkin sävyllä "tea dye". Kuviopaperit on JK Primecon ja taustalla, sekä tekstin pohjana käytin persikan väristä kartonkia, jonka löysin silppulaatikosta. Teksti on Fiskarsin tekstileimasetistä. Lisukkeena pitsi, kakkupaperilasinalunen, paperikukkia sekä puolihelmiä. Kuva on kohotettu pohjasta 1,5mm 3D tarrapaloilla.

Today my card is pretty peach... I don't know how that happened, but when I was colouring the image, somehow I ended up making her dress peach. So I decided to make that as the main colour of the card - complemented with some light green. The image is "Aurora 'Belle of the ball'" by the East Wind and I coloured her with ProMarkers. I used Distress Ink "tea dye" on the background. The DPs are by JK Primeco and the peachy cardstock on the background and as the sentiment base is from my scraps box. The sentiment is a stamp by Fiskars. In addition some lace, doily, paper flowers and flat pearls. I used some 1,5mm 3D foam pads under the image for added dimension.

Juhlahumua

Tämä kortti syntyi jälleen kuvan inspiroimana ja jälleen kerran väritin kuvan ennen kuin oli mitään hajua siitä, että mitä papereita käytän... Onneksi sain värit mätsäämään. :)

Kuva on Art by MiRanin "Birthday Betty" ja se on ABM Facebook Progressive haasteen kuukauden kuvana eli sain sen ilmaiseksi, kun olin osallistunut edellisen kuun haasteeseen. Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja kerrostin vaalean ruskealla kartongilla. Seurakseen kuva sai Papermanian Mr. Mister -paperikon paperit, vähän sinistä nauhaa sekä FinnStamperin leimalla leimatun tekstin, jonka taustan väritin ProMarkerilla (Gold).

This card was inspired by the image and once again I coloured the image first before knowing which papers I'll use. Luckily I had perfect papers to go with my colouring. So the image is "Birthday Betty" by Art by MiRan and it's the image of the month at ABM Facebook Progressive Challenge. Since I participated the challenge also in the last month, I got this cutie for free. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and layered with light brown cardstock. I paired the image with DPs from Mr. Mister stack by Papermania. In addition I used some blue ribbon and added sentiment stamped by FinnStamper stamp. The text says "Congratulations" in Finnish and the background of it is coloured with ProMarker (Gold).

Kierrätystä

Tämän lauantain kortti on lähes pelkästään kierrätysmateriaaleista tehty - ainoastaan korttipohja on uusi.

Kortin paperit ovat vanhasta kirjasta ja nuottivihkosta. Kukka on stanssattu Sizzixin stanssilla nuottivihkon sivusta. Värjäsin nuottivihkon sivut kahvilla, niin sain vanhennettua niitä. Reunat on reilusti revitty, kun halusin tähän vähän rosoista fiilistä. Teksti on kirjoitettu käsin mustalla tussilla tuon kirjansivun alalaidasta repäistylle suikaleelle.

Today I'm sharing with you a card that is made almost completely out of recycled materials - only the card base is new. The papers are from an old book and a music sheet. I used some coffee to dye the page with the notes to get a distressed look without inks. All the edges are just ripped by hands as I wanted to get some roughness to the card. The flower is cut with Sizzix die. The text says "Congratulations" in Finnish and is handwritten on a piece of paper from the old book.

Pöllö onnittelee jälleen

Tein jokin aika sitten onnittelukortin valmiilla pöllö-pahvileikkeellä. Tässä nyt toinen samanmoinen, tosin vihreän pöllön sijaan tässä on turkoosi.

Pidin kortin hyvin pelkistettynä: vihreää kartonkia, turkoosia kuviopaperia silppulaatikon kätköistä sekä turkoosia helmiäiskartonkia. Onnea-teksti on FinnStamperin leimasimella leimattu.

I made a congratulations card with cardstock owl some time ago... Here is another one, but this time with a turquoise owl. I kept the card very simple: green cardstock, turquoise DP from my scraps box and turquoise pearlscent cardstock. The text says "Congratulations" in Finnish and it's a stamp by FinnStampers.

Itämaiset onnittelut

Tämän kortin kuva on samasta Jennifer Elloryn suunnittelemasta leimasetistä kuin tässä Itämaista tunnelmaa -kortissa, jonka postasin kesäkuussa. Leimasetti tuli siis Cardmaking & Papercraft -lehden kylkiäisenä.

Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla taustaa myöten. Taustapaperi löytyi silppulaatikosta. Kerrostukseen käytin mustaa kartonkia ja tekstin leimasin FinnStamperin leimasimella. Jätin kortin todella pelkistetyksi, sillä jotenkin mielestäni kuva ja teksti tuollaisenaan toimi hyvin.

This image is from the same stamp set by Jennifer Ellory as the image in this "Itämaista tunnelmaa" (Oriental feeling) card that I posted in June. I got the stamp set with Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine. I coloured the image here with ProMarkers - also the background is coloured with ProMarkers. The DP is from my scraps box and I used black cardstock for layering. The text is stamped with FinnStamper stamp and it says "Congratulations" in Finnish. I left the card pretty plain as the image and the text didn't require any embellies.

Ei pöllömmät onnittelut

Ostin joku aika sitten aivan ihanan pahvileikekoristesetin, jossa oli pöllöjä, perhosia, kukkasia ja kehystettyjä sydämiä. Nyt kun ystäväni valmistui ja piti saada onnittelukortti niin päätin, että yksi pöllöistä pääsee korttin.

Taustan kuviopaperi on irtolehtenä ostettu, kerrostettu valkealla ja vihreällä kartongilla. Pääosaan pöllön kanssa pääsi upea, iso kakkupaperilasinalunen. Lisukkeena pinkkiä nauhaa sekä FinnStamperin leimalla leimattu onnea-teksti, jonka päätin leimata valkean sijaan pinkille ja kerrostaa valkealla ja vihreällä taustapaperin tapaan.

I bought some time ago a cardstock embellishment set with owls, flowers, framed hearts and butterflies. Now as my friend graduated and I needed a congratulations card for her, I decided that one of the owls is fitting for this card. I've bought the DP as a separate sheet and have no idea of the producer. The focus point in the card is naturally the owl, but also the big, beautiful doily. I used some hot pink ribbon to embellish the card and stamped FinnStampers text (congratulations in Finnish) on hot pink cardstock as the owl has some pink too. I used green and white cardstocks for layering the DP and the text.

Onnittelukortti jalkapalloilijalle

Tänään vuorossa on miehinen onnittelukortti, joka meni jalkapalloilijalle.

Leimakuva on Papermanian Nostalgia Pastimes leimasetistä ja väritetty ProMarkereilla. Kuviopaperit on kaikki silppulaatikon kätköistä ja kerrostettu mustalla kartongilla. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin. Halusin pitää kortin suht simppelinä, joten lisukkeena vain pari nappia.

Today I'm sharing with you a male congratulations card. The recipient plays football (soccer), so when hubby asked me to make this card I knew immediately I'd use this image. The stamp is from Nostalgia Pastimes stamp set by Papermania and coloured with ProMarkers. All DPs are from my scraps box and layered with black cardstock. The text stamp is by FinnStamper and it says "Congratulations" in Finnish. In addition just couple of buttons.

Simppelit onnittelut

Eilen julkaisin pari pelkistettyä "onnea uuteen kotiin" -korttia, tässä vielä yksi hyvin CAS-tyylinen, tällä kertaa yleinen onnittelukortti.

Käytin myös tässä kortissa samaa Die-namicsin stanssia kuin eilen julkaisemissani korteissa. Tällä kertaa stanssasin kaupunkisiluetin tummansinisestä helmiäiskartongista.  Tekstin leimasin indigon sävyisenä sinisenä FinnStamperin Onnea-leimalla.

I posted yesterday couple of very simple cards for a new home and today I continue being CAS. I used the same Die-namics die as I did in the cards I posted yesterday. I used some dark blue pearlscent cardstock for the city and some indigo blue ink for the text. The text is stamped directly on the card base using stamp by FinnStampers. It says "congratulations" in Finnish.

Onnea uuteen kotiin - CAS

Innostuin tekemään taas muutaman CAS-kortin. Tässä niistä kaksi, joissa toivotellaan onnea uuteen kotiin.

I got inspired and made some CAS cards yesterday. Here are two of them with wishes to new home.

Ensimmäisen kortin tein yksiosaisena kraft-pohjalle. Kaupunkistanssi on Die-namicsin, tekstileima FinnStamperin. Lisukkeena vain muutama maalitipalta näyttävä kohotarra.

This first card has kraft base. The city landscape is a die by Die-namics and the text stamp is by FinnStamper. It wishes happines to new home in Finnish. In addition some enamel dots.

Toinen kortti on vielä vähän pelkistetympi: valkealle korttipohjalle ruskeasta paperista samainen kaupunkisiluetti ja teksti leimattuna Distress Inkin sävyllä Tea Dye.

The second card is even more CAS than the first one. White card base, same city cut out of brown paper and the text stamped with Distress Ink "Tea Dye".

Pirteät onnittelut pojalle

Tämmöinen pirteänvärinen kortti syntyi onnittelukortiksi pojalle. Tai no miksei tämä kävisi vähän vanhemmallekin kaksilahkeiselle...

Kuva on Kenny K:n "Cool Kid" ja väritin kuvan taas tuttuun tapaan ProMarkereilla. Taustalla oleva kuviopaperi on silppulaatikosta samaten kuin punainen paperi, josta stanssasin Sizzixin stansseilla tägin ja nuolen. Lisukkeena keltaista nauhaa ja tägin rengas, jonka olin jo joskus aiemmin stanssannut keltaisesta kartongista. Kerrostukseen käytin harmaata kartonkia.

Today I share with you a congratulations card for a boy. The image is "Cool Kid" by Kenny K and I coloured it with ProMarkers. The DP on the background is from my scraps box and so is the red paper I used to cut the tag and the arrow with Sizzix dies. In addition some yellow ribbon and a yellow circle for the tag, which I've cut already earlier out of yellow cardstock. I used grey cardstock for matting.

I made this card for my godson, who recently had his 9th birthday. I cannot belive he's such a big boy already, it feels like yesterday when he was born... The image is "Cool Kid" by Kenny K and it was February's freebie. I coloured the image with ProMarkers. The DP is from Tahiti Beach Stack by DCWV and on the background I used light blue handmade paper. The letters and number 9 are stickers I've got ages ago with some set - and actually the arrow/mini tag is from the same set.
