Beach and ice cream

Helteet ne vain jatkuvat ja jäätelö maistuu. :) The East Windin uutiskirjeessä tuli taas uusi ilmainen digi, joka on tällä kertaa supersöpö Aurora Bubblegum and Mint Chocolate. Pakkohan tuo neitokainen oli päästä heti värittämään ja asettelemaan korttiin.

Kuviopaperit ovat DCWV:n Tahiti Beach Stack -lehtiöstä. Kuva on väritetty ProMarkereilla, paitsi kengät ja hatun rusetti, jotka väritin turkoosilla geelikynällä. Stanssasin sekä kuvan että sen taustan Sizzixin Tickets-sarjan stansseilla. Thinking of you -teksti on Tim Holtzin leimasinsetistä, samoin kuin tekstin kehys. Lisukkeena blingikukkasia, joihin liimasin helmet keskustoiksi, pieniä simpukoita sekä yksi valkea sileäksi hioutunut kivi.

Tein tällä kertaa telinekortin ja käytin keskusosan, kuvan ja tekstin alla 3D tarrapaloja tuomaan vielä vähän lisää ulottuvuutta korttiin. Kortin taitoksen alla näkyy pieni valkea paperin kulma - laitoin sen tuonne kortin sisälle käsinkirjoitettavaa tervehdystä varten.

The heat continues to warm us up here in Finland and ice cream is still my favourite food. :) The East Wind newsletter brought again a freebie of the month, which this time is this super cute Aurora Bubblegum and Mint Chocolate. I just had to colour her up right away and make a card using her. I coloured Aurora with her ice cream with ProMarkers, except the shoes and the bow in her hat for which I used some glitter gel pen. The papers are from DCWV's Tahiti Beach stack. I cut the image and the layering paper with Sizzix Tickets dies and I used some 3D foam pads under the image, the text and the center part for added dimension. The text is by Tim Holtz - from a set with multiple sentiments and the frame.  In addition some bling flowers where I added pearls as centres, seashells and a flat little rock smoothened by the water. As you can see from the second image, I added also a small piece of white paper inside the card for hand-written greetings.
