To a fabulous friend

Sain tämän upean Belle of the Ball -digin The East Windin uutiskirjeen mukana, kyseessä on siis kuukauden freebie. Innostuin tekemään kuvasta parikin korttia, tässä niistä toinen.

Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja mustetin reunoja ihan aavistuksen omaisesti Distress Inkin sävyllä "Walnut Stain". Kerrostukseen käytin samaa tumman sinistä helmiäiskartonkia kuin taustassakin. Kuviopaperin sain äidiltäni, valmistajasta ei mitään hajua. Myös sen reunat ressasin ja mustetin. Telinekortin pitää pystyssä 3D tarrapaloilla kohotettu tekstiblokki. Tekstileima on jonkun lehden kylkiäisenä tulleen Art Deco -setin teksti. Lisukkeena kakkupapereita sekä konfettitähtiä. Olen erittäin tyytyväinen lopputulokseen, jopa hiusten väritys onnistui tällä kertaa jo hieman paremmin. :)

I got this gorgeous The East Wind "Belle of the Ball" digi as a monthly freebie with their newsletter. I got so excited that I actually made two cards with this image - here the other one. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and slightely distressed and inked the edges. I layered the image with the same dark blue pearlscent paperboard as I used in the background. I got the DP from my mum and I have absolutely now idea of its make. I distressed and inked also the edges of the DP. The text came with an Art Deco stamp set, which I got as a freebie with a magazine ages ago. I used the same DP and paperboard for the text block as on the main part of the card and I lifted it up with some 3D foam pads. In addition I used some doilies and confetti stars. I'm really happy with the end-result - even colouring the hair was not-so-bad this time. :)
