Happy New Year dear readers! I begin this year's blogging by sharing a card, which I made during my Christmas holiday while I was travelling. The only things I had with me were some Elisabeth Bell ready-to-colour images, watercolour pencils and a brush. So I needed to rely on my mum's stash of paper supplies for everything else...
I coloured Elisabeth Bell's image with water colour pencils and brush. The image is out of Ready to colour Art Book. The DPs, blue card base and pink paper are all from my mum's stash. I distressed the edges of the image and the papers with scissors and cut the fishtale banner with scissors by free hand. I used few buttons as embellies - those are also from my mum's stash. :)
Koristelin myös kortin sisäpuolen. Leiska on sama kuin kannessa, mutta paperit on päinvastoin ja kuvan paikalla on tilaa tervehdykselle.
I decorated also the inside of the card. The layout is the same as on the cover, but I used the DPs in opposite places and left space for greeting instead of using another image.
Osallistun kortillani Papertake Weekly -haasteeseen, jonka aiheena on "Pick a Fave" eli oman suosikkiaiheen mukaan pitäisi tehdä jotain. Itse valitsin teemaksi "Lovely Layers", joka oli haasteen aiheena helmikuussa.
I participate with this card in Papertake Weekly challenge "Pick a Fave". My favourite theme from this year's Papertake challenges is "Lovely Layers", which was originally theme in February.
Kaunis kokonaisuus!

Ooh this is just so pretty. Loving the pink and blue and the buttons is a lovely touch.

Thank you Desire! :) The colour combination may not be the most typical to me, but I'm happy how it turned out.
PoistaKIva, että sait mun sekalaisesta kamakasasta, jotain käytettävää :) HIeno kortti syntyikin. Värimaailma on taas jotain uutta, sillä nuo voimakkaat pinkin ja sinisen sävyt ovat sinulle harvinaisempia.
VastaaPoistaTodellakin löytyi paljon kaikkea kivaa, kiitos! :) Värimaailma on tosiaan mulle uusi, mutta olen tyytyväinen lopputulokseen.
