Turkoosia ja ruskeaa vintagea

Tämä kortti on tehty ihan puhtaasti haasteen innnoittamana ilman mitään sen kummempaa syytä. Onnittelukortti syntyi, kun muuten on vähän huonosti noita suomenkielisiä tekstileimoja (joululeimoja lukuunottamatta).

Taustapaperi on Michele R Designsin digipaperi, jonka olen kerrostanut ruskealla paperilla. Kuva on Flonzcraftin ja leimasin sen Distress Inkin sävyllä "Walnut Stain" ruskealle paperille. Leikkasin kuvan Nellie Snellenin stanssilla ja taustalle saman setin isommalla stanssilla leikkasin turkoosia kartonkia. Värjäsin kakkupaperia varovasti Distress Inkillä ja laitoin kuvan taustalle. Onnea-teksti on FinnStamperin. Ankkuri on samasta Flonzcrafting leimasetistä kuin laivakin ja leikkasin sen irti ääriviivoja myöten ennen kuin pujotin turkoosiin nauhaan ja kiinnitin kortin kulmaan. Nauhan lisäksi koristeena on pieni suikale valko-hopeista kuitukangasta.

Ja tällä kortilla siis mukaan It's all about the Vintage and Beauty -haasteeseen #76 "Turkoosia ja ruskeaa".

This card was born completely from the insipartion by a challenge. I made a congratulations card since I don't have much text stamps in Finnish, but I'm pretty sure it will find a suitable recipient at some point. :) The DP is digi paper by Michele R Designs and I used some brown paper for layering. The image is by Flonzcraft and I stamped it with Distress Ink "Walnut Stain". I cut the the image with Nellie Snellen circle die and used a bigger die from the same set to cut the turquoise cardstock for layering. I carefully inked the edges of a doily with Distress Ink and placed the doily under the image as a frame. The text says "Congrats" in Finnish and the stamp is by FinnStamper. The anchor is from the same set as the ship and I used it as a decoration by fussy cutting it and putting the turquoise ribbon through the top of it. In addition to the ribbon I added a piece of white-and-silver non-woven fabric as a decoration.
