Iloista joulua

Vaikka kesä kolkuttelee ovella (ainakin kalenterin mukaan), niin otin ja tein taas yhden joulukortin.

Kuvassa reippaana astelee The East Windin suloinen Aurora, joka tuli uutiskirjeen mukana kuukauden ilmaiskuvana joskus viime syksynä. Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja mustetin taustan Distress Inkin sävyllä Tea Dye. Kuviopaperit on DCWV:n The Christmas and The Winter 180 -lehtiöstä ja teksileima on FinnStamperin. Tekstileiman keskelle tein parista punaisesta silppupaperista kukkasen Fiskarsin lävistäjällä. Ressasin papereiden reunat saksilla ja kerrostin kaiken kraftilla.

Merry Christmas! It is supposed to be more or less summer time now (at least according to calendar - I'm not that convinced when checking the weather), but I decided to make another Christmas card nevertherless. The image is cute Aurora by The East Wind and she was monthly freebie that came with a newsletter last autumn. I coloured her with ProMarkers and inked the background with Distress Ink "Tea Dye". The DPs are by DCWV - from their The Christmas and The Winter 180 Stack. The text stamp is by FinnStamper and it says "Merry Christmas" in Finnish. I used couple of red papers from my scraps box to make a flower in the middle of the text with Fiskars punch. I distressed the papers lightly with scissors and used kraft for matting.
