Syksyn värejä ystävälle

Jatketaan syksyisellä värimaailmalla.

Kuviopaperit on Lidlin lehtiöistä, kerrostettu kraftilla. Kuva on Tiddly Inksin leimasin, joka tuli Quick Cards Made Easy -lehden mukana. Leimasetti, jossa tyttö tuli oli joululeimasinsetti, mutta mielestäni tyttönen sopii erittäin hyvin myös syksykorttiin, kun värittää tähän tapaan. :) Väritin kuvan akvarellipuuväreillä ja säiliösiveltimellä ja stanssasin Sizzixin Tickets -setin stanssilla. Taustalle tumman ruskeaa kartonkia ja kulmiin Sticklesillä kuorrutettuja lehtiä, jotka on leikattu lävistäjällä. Tekstileima on Timpan ja teksti on kohotettu 3D tarrapaloilla.

I continue with the autumn colours. The DPs are from two different stack bought from Lidl and layered with kraft. Image is cutie Tiddly Inks stamp, which I got with Quick Cards Made Easy magazine. The stamp set was actually Christmas set, but I think this little girl fits autumn card perfectly when coloured like this. :) I coloured her with watercolour pencils and brush, and cut with Sizzix Tickets die. I used some dark brown paperboard on the background and added few punched leaves covered with Stickles. The text stamp is by Tim Holtz and I used 3D foam pads under it.

Ystävälle sadonkorjuun aikaan

Taas se aika vuodesta, kun satoa korjataan siellä sun täällä niin marjapuskista kuin sienimetsistä. Tässä yksi kortti ystävälle sadonkorjuun hengessä.

Kuva on Sliekjen ilmainen digikuva "Pumpkin" ja väritin sen ProMarkereilla. Ressasin vähän reunoja saksilla ja mustetin kevyesti Distress Inkin sävyllä Walnut Stain. Kerrostukseen käytin keltaista kopiopaperia, jota käytin taustoilla muutenkin. Kuviopaperi on Lidlin lehtiöstä ja siinä oli vähän gimalletta jo valmiina. :) Tein suikaleesta ruskeaa kartonkia sekä kimaltavaa vihreää nauhaa vaakaraidan kuvan taakse. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin ja leimasin sen samalla Distress Inkillä kuin mitä käytin kuvan reunoissa. Stanssasin tekstin ja sen taustan Nellie Snellenin ympyrästansseilla. Tekstin keskelle liimailin pallokuosisia nappeja. Sekä kuva että teksti on kohotettu taustasta 3D tarrapaloilla.

It is the harvest season again, so here is one card for a friend with that theme. :) The image is cutie freebie by Sliekje's digistamps called "Pumpkin". I coloured it with ProMarkers and distressed the edges lightly with scissors and inked them with Distress Ink "Walnut Stain". I used yellow copy paper to mat the image and used the same yellow paper all over the card for layering. The DP is from a stack from Lidl and it had some glitter already on it. I made a horizontal stripe behind the image with a strip of brown paperboard and green glitter ribbon. The text stamp is by FinnStamper and it says "To a friend" in Finnish. I cut the text and it's background with Nellie Snellen's circle die set and added some polkadot buttons in the middle of it. Both the image and the text is attached with 3D foam pads for added dimension.

Näkyykö tonttuja

Joulukorttien väsääminen jatkuu, tässä taas yksi näytille.

Kuva on Whimsie Doodlesin "Elves watching girl", joka on ollut koneellani jo varmaan vuoden, mutta en muista, että olisin ikinä aiemmin tonttuja katselevaa tyttöä värittänyt. Väritin kuvan ja sen taustan ProMarkereilla, stanssasin ympyrästanssilla ja sen jälkeen leikkasin ympyrän alaosan pois, niin että sain hameenhelman ja jalat ääriviivoja myöten vapaaksi ja siten tyttösen istumaan nauhan reunalle. Kuviopaperi on tullut Forever Friendsin 3D-kuvapaketin mukana. Tekstileima on FinnStamperin ja stanssattu ympyrästanssilla. Lisukkeena nauhaa, washiteippiä, ProMarkereilla värjätty puunappi sekä Sticklesiä, jolla reunustin koko komeuden.

Here is again one Christmas card I want to share with you. The image is "Elves wathing girl" by Whimsie Doodles and I've had it for about a year, but I don't remember ever colouring her before. I coloured the girl and her background with ProMarkers and cut it first with circle die and then fussy cut the bottom so that I was able to align her to sit on top of the ribbon. The DP came with a Forerver Friends 3D image set. The text stamp is by FinnStamper and says "Merry Christmas" in Finnish. In addition some ribbon, washi tape, wooden button coloured with ProMarkers and red Stickles, which I used on the edges of the DP.

Sain palkinnoksi tämän ihanan The East Windin digikuvan joku aika sitten, kun olin DT favourite heidän haasteessaan.

Kuva on "Aurora Vine" ja väritin sen ProMarkereilla. Kerrostin Papermanian kuviopaperin tumman ruskealla kartongilla ja vedenvihreällä käsintehdyllä paperilla. Leimasin tekstin ensin mustalla ja korostin sen jälkeen vielä turkoosilla glittergeelikynällä. Lisukkeena leipurinnyöriä, Sizzixin stanssattu kiehkura sekä paperiruusuja.

I got this lovely "Aurora Vine" digi by The East Wind some time ago, when I was DT favourite at The East Wind challenge. I coloured her with ProMarkers and cropped really tightly. I used some dark brown paperboard and light green handmade paper to mat the DP, which is by Papermania. I stamped the text first in black and used then some turqoise glitter gel pen to highlight it. In addition some bakers twine, swirl cut with Sizzix die and some paper roses.

Värikkäät onnentoivotukset

Tämä kortti on ollut saajallaan jo useamman viikon, mutta on jäänyt julkaisematta.

Kuva on The East Windin toukokuun freebie. Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja mustetin taustan Versa Magicin sävyllä "Sea breeze". Kuviopaperit on kahdesta Lidlin lehtiöstä ja kerrostin kuvan sekä koko kokonaisuuden keltaisella yksivärisellä paperilla. Lisukkeena kakkupaperia, washiteippiä sekä ProMarkereilla värjättyjä paperikukkia, joiden keskustoiksi laitoin haaraniitit.

Tässä vielä kortin sisäpuoli. Tekstileimat ovat Fiskarsin leimasinsetistä.

Here is a birthday card, which. I made already in the summer, but it has remained unpublished. The image is freebie by The East Wind. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and inked the background with Versa Magic "Sea breeze". The DPs are from two different stacks from Lidl and I used some yellow single-colour paper for matting. In addition a doily, some washi tape and paperflowers coloured with ProMarkers with brads in the centres. 

The second photo shows the inside of the card. The stamps are by Fiskars.

Söpöilyä

Tässä yksi söpöilykortti, joka sopisi vaikka ystävänpäiväkortiksi - tai miksei vaikka peräti hääkortiksi.

Molemmat kuviopaperit ovat setistä, jonka voitin joku aika sitten Sirpan arvonnassa, joten valitettavasti en tiedä valmistajaa. Kuva on Lily of the Valleyn valmis topperi. Kehystin paperit ja kuvan ruskealla paperilla ja heitin lisukkeeksi washiteippiä, kakkupaperin, puolihelmiä sekä paperiruusuja, joista yhden värjäsin punaiseksi. Melko nopea tehdä, mutta tästä tuli aikas kiva! Kiitos vielä Sirpa! :)

Here is one quick cutie card, which would be pretty perfect for Valentine's Day - but could maybe work even as a wedding card for some cute couple. :) Both DPs are from a set I won from Sirpa some time ago, so unfortunately I don't know the producer. The image is a ready-coloured topper by Lily of the Valley. I matted the image and papers with brown solid paper and added some washi tape, doily, flat pearls and roses. I coloured one of the roses with watercolour pencil and brush. This was quick to make, but this turned out to pretty sweet. Have to say that the ready-coloured topper saved tonnes of time! Thank you once again Sirpa! :)

Pienelle synttäriprinsessalle

Kuun ensimmäinen päivä tarkoittaa sitä, että sähköpostiin kilahtaa The East Windin uutiskirje ja kuukauden freebie-kuva. Tällä kertaa ollaan näköjään synttäritunnelmissa, sillä kuukauden kuva on Baby Aurora Birthday Princess. Minulle tuli tästä kuvasta välittömästi mieleen yksi pikkuprinsessa, jolla on synttärit tosin vasta helmikuussa, mutta en voinut nyt millään jättää kortin tekoa sinne asti...

Väritin kuvan ProMarkereilla ja stanssasin kuvan - samoin kuin muut ympyrät Nellie Snellenin ympyrästanssisetillä. Taustalla vaaleanviolettia yksiväristä paperia Lidlin lehtiöstä, muuten helmiäiskartonkeja violettina, vaaleanpunaisena ja vihreänä. Valittettavasti helmiäisen hohde ei oikein kartongeista näy... :( Tekstin kirjoitin tietokoneella ja tulostin. Kukat on paperikukkia, jotka värjäsin ProMarkereilla, ja vaikka osa kukista näyttää harmailta, niin oikeasti ovat samanlaiset lilat kuin Baby Auroran mekko. Otin useita kuvia eri valaistuksissa, mutta lopputulos on aina sama, joten valitettavasti joudutte nyt vain kuvittelemaan kukat liloiksi. Ilmapallon leikkasin käsivaralla ja laitoin pinkki-valkeaa leipurinnyöriä naruksi. Numeron kirjoitin sabloonan läpi hopeisella geelikynällä. Lisukkeena vielä pinkkiä nauhaa ja puolihelmiä.

So, the first of the month means The East Wind newsletter with a monthly freebie. This time the newsletter brough Baby Aurora Birthday Princess and I knew immediately a little princess, to whom I need to make a card with this image. I coloured her with ProMarkers and cut the image and all the other circles with Nellie Snellen's circle die cut set. I used some pearlscent paperboard in violet, baby pink and green - and matted the entity with violet paper from Lidl stack. Unfortunately the pearlscent shimmer is not shown in the image well. :( I wrote the text with my computer and printed it out. It says "Happy Birthday" in Finnish. The flowers are also coloured with ProMarkers and although some of them look rather grey, they are actually the same shade of violet as Baby Aurora's dress. I really don't understand what happened when I took the photo..? I took several shots in different light, but the end-result is always the same. I'm so sorry about that! You just need to use your imagination and imagine those in the right colour. ;) I cut the balloon just randomly freehand and added some pink-and-white bakers twine. I wrote the number 4 via sabloon in silver gel pen. In addition some pink ribbon and flat pearls.
